PARKING
We have parking available in our fields on the farm.
Please remember that there is NO PARKING on White Hill Road and Mohansic Avenue.
Please also be mindful of the residents in the neighborhood next to the farm.
Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm’s Updates for the 2024 Harvest Season
- There are hand washing and sanitizing stations located on the farm for your personal use.
- Pets will not be permitted on the farm. Please leave your furry friends at home.
- Picnicking and Tailgating is not permitted.
- We are a no smoking or vaping products property.
- No reservations are required to Pick-Your-Own Apples, Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins, visit the Bakery, Farm Market and Winery.
- For Christmas trees during the 2024 season, we will REQUIRE all customers to make RESERVATIONS to be admitted to the Christmas tree plantation to cut a tree from the field OR to the area to select a pre-cut tree between Saturday, November 30th and Sunday, December 1st, 2024 ONLY. If you are interested in selecting/getting your Christmas tree on Monday, December 2nd or at a later date there are no reservations required and you are welcome to simply show up to pick your 2024 Christmas tree – while supplies last. This applies to BOTH pre-cut and Choose-n-cut Christmas trees. Please visit our Christmas tree page for more details.
Details of our 2024 Specific Operations:
HOURS OF OPERATION: The farm is OPEN Wednesdays-Mondays and Closed on Tuesdays. The farm will be OPEN the Tuesday (November 26th) before Thanksgiving.
FARM MARKET
– The market will be restricted to one-way traffic, customers will enter at the north end of the market and exit at the south end of the market.
BAKERY
– Customers will enter the main doors of the bakery to place orders inside for all bakery products.
– Orders will be picked up at the windows just outside on the right hand side.
CORN MAZE
– Tickets may be purchased in the Farm Market, Bakery or at the Pick-Your-Own Pavilion before visiting the maze.
PICK-YOUR-OWN ORCHARDS
– Outside picking bags or containers are not allowed. Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm will provide necessary containers for a safe and enjoyable day.
– Outside food is not permitted in the orchard.
– No pets are allowed.
– Hand sanitation is key and we request you wash your hands before entering and after exiting the fields or apply hand sanitizer.
– No bags or back-packs will be allowed in the fields. Small diaper bags will be permitted.
WINERY
– This year our winery will open on weekends in an outside designated area.
– Bottles of wine for off-premises consumption will be available in that area.
GROUPS & PARTY RESERVATIONS
– This year we will be hosting groups mostly on Fridays by reservations only. Your group is welcome to come other days and follow our general guidelines and minimums for picking on your own. Please note we will not accept any buses on the weekends and Monday, Columbus Day (October 14th) as parking is limited during those days. To request a Group Reservation please fill out the form HERE. As far as parties, we do not have a party space available for rent this season and therefore are unable to host parties on the farm property.
