We anticipate that the 2024 Harvest Season for Apples will begin on August 31st, 2024. We encourage you to think of apple picking in September to guarantee apples on the trees.
The are NO RESERVATIONS needed. There is no parking fee. There is a minimum required to buy if entering the orchard* (see below).
The process for apple picking consists of parking in the designated field past the flag pole. Check in is at the Red Pavilion for bags, baskets, and picking poles (available for a small rental fee with a deposit). At this point you will be asked to pay for the minimum* quantity given your party size in order to enter the orchard. Then your group may walk to this week’s picking orchard (the location of which changes weekly as different varieties ripen). Pick fruit and fill your bag or basket. Return to the Red Pavilion to check-out and return the picking poles. Walking to and from the orchard is permitted along the designated walking trail, please come dressed for country orchards(closed-toed shoes & tall socks). The wagon ride will to and from the orchard will be offered on select weekends in early September only.
*The minimum to enter the orchard for every 2 people (12 years and older) is 1 peck bag of apples ($30) and the minimum to enter the orchard for every 3-4 people (12 years and older) is a 1/2 bushel bag of apples ($45).
